Sabina is a mental health professional. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (2006), Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling Specializing in General Mental Health Counseling (2014), and Master of Science in Clinical Psychology with a Specialization in Forensic Psychology (2018). She also acquired 1.5 years of Doctoral Level credits in Clinical Psychology (2018).
She is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio & Kentucky, actively pursuing licensure in Virginia, and a Certified Professional Life Coach. She has passed both the National Counselor (NCE) Exam and the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor (NCMHCE) Exam.
Sabina found her love for horses and riding when she relocated to North Carolina and her husband deployed. With no Interstate Counseling Compact, Universal Recognition, or Reciprocity she was unable to get her professional license transferred over to NC. After exhausting every option and advocating for a change through a non-profit organization she quickly realized the military relocations would continue to not only be adventures but obstacles, too.
When one door closed another opened, she found another way to use her skills, passions, and experiences in helping others. Sabina is actively pursuing her Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning (ESMHL) certification as well as applying her mental health profession in Equine Assisted Services (EAS). Additionally, she has completed the Mastery Horsemanship Principles and Horse Psychology 101 Courses to strengthen her knowledge and passion for horses.
Moreover, she will use her mental health skills and horsemanship knowledge to provide you with the safest beginner friendly riding lessons. Most importantly she will help you heal and find happiness within yourself and your riding.
